Woa. Just... woa. Your art style is INCREDIBLE, I'm in shock. It's not just that it looks exactly like them, but that it so realistic, and the colors and tones you use are gorgeous, and you take care of the background as well, and seriously, how do you do it? Like, do you use Photoshop? Do you draw and ink first? What brushes do you use, and the one with the Stanford van and Sam was absolutely stunning ♥ I am so in awe.

how do you do it? Like, do you use Photoshop? how do you do it? Like, do you use Photoshop? Do you draw and ink first?
I start by inking in Manga Studio Ex, I use the pen tool for the line art, then I color in Photoshop CS4 by using the gradient tool a lot and basic brushes.

What brushes do you use?
The PS default brushes, nothing fancy, except when I draw stars and sparkles, I use custom brushes from deviant art. You have a WIP gif here:

Sorry for the late answer :/
The dark/purple layer I add is just a dark blue layer set to "multiply" to change the palette quickly. Nothing magical :3

Gimp is free and it's quite close to PS. I think there is a gradient tool in it. (I'm not sure ^^;;)
